Michael Jackson is widely expected to announce a series of comeback concerts at the O2 arena in London. The pop legend is due to make a “special announcement” at the venue on Thursday.
Jackson is said to have chosen London as the venue for his global comeback because of his fascination for spoof secret agent Austin Powers. The troubled singer is said to have watched The Spy Who Shagged Me an astonishing 94 times in an attempt to perfect a London accent. Insiders suggest that there will be an Austin Powers theme to the London comeback shows.
The 2009 Comeback Special will feature a number of velvet suit costume changes, a backing group called White Members and a selection of Mini Me’s to be recruited from local primary schools.
