Programmer develops ultimate ‘plug and play’
A Finnish computer programmer who lost one of his fingers in a motorcycle accident has made himself a prosthetic replacement with a USB drive attached. Jerry Jalava uses the 2GB memory stick, accessed by peeling back the “nail”, to store photos, movies and programmes.
Mr Jalava says that it is proving invaluable to simply to be able to have so much information at his fingertips and that he is considering pushing the innovation in technology even further. The software developer from Helsinki says that he is weighing up the option of having his penis surgically removed to make his pornography watching experience more vivid. He believes that a prosthetic penis with a USB drive attached could prove not only personally advantageous but profitable.
Mr Jalava says that an online survey – conducted amongst fellow Star Trek fan club associates – showed that 63% of male members aged between 16-25 said they would buy a PSB, a penis serial bus, if there were one on the market.
