Caring Carla casts eye on cute kids
France’s first lady Carla Bruni says she wants to have more children, adding that she will adopt if she cannot have a baby with President Nicolas Sarkozy. “I’d love to have a child, but I’m not going to fight against nature,” the 41-year-old model-turned-singer said.
Ms Bruni said that she and the president had drawn up a short list of possible candidates for adoption but had not yet decided if they wanted a boy or a girl. She admitted that they were considering adopting ageing singer-songwriter Paul Simon but were not sure he was attractive enough. Model Kate Moss was another possibility and while beautiful, she was not yet fully house-trained.
Ms Bruni said that the couple would take their time to find the right child but had not ruled out adopting former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. “He is such a darling boy and so eager to please. And he speaks French better than what I do. But que sera sera as the English say.”
